Alot of you know about the SpikerMan videos I did long long ago, I did many of the first episodes when I was just starting on Flash and getting use to how it works, but for the last few years I've been doing Zelda animations as you all know, and that I've put SpikerMan aside. So what does this have to do with Kelvar? Well in the SpikerMan book, Kelvar is one of SpikerMan's friends. Do you kinda see now? The way that I made the SpikerMan character was for him to be a super hero, he would have countless enemies, he was the most powerful of his kind, and he battles opponents through space. But Kelvar is different, Kelvar isn't a celebrity hero, he's not popular or strong,

he's....just there.

I'll have to go through some backstory for you to understand better, Kelvar is of the Knight race which live in their kingdom on the Planet Lancelot, his mother died in childbirth, giving him.

Whenever Kelvar's father see's him, he is reminded of her, and they don't have such a great relationship because of that, when he is old enough Kelvar joins the galactic army, seeing he is a good swordsman, he goes to battle with his friends and is led by General Raven (SpikerMan's father) Pretty soon their invasion on the alien planet has destroyed all their numbers except for Kelvar and Raven.

Raven sees that Kelvar is a rare person and they create their own space station to help disturbances around the galaxy, others joined them seeing that they received better pay and that they didn't have to fight so many strong forces all at once. A couple years later they are recruited by the Galactic Republic Core to take care of a very serious threat which is the OMNI clan. I won't go into all that, but after the OMNI War's Kelvar is left in charge of their station which they named the Raven Fort. Raven also requests that Kelvar take care of his daughter Lu. So now the Raven Fort consists of Kelvar, Lu, and Frog who joins their group later.

A couple years pass but during those years Kelvar and Lu have a relationship, but it does not last that long as Lu says she's not interested. Kelvar meets SpikerMan several years later, and he eventually joins SpikerMan at Kunac's base. Kunac is an overseer of the Universe and works as a middle class boss of the Galactic Republic Core. Kelvar manages back and forth between the Raven Fort and Kunac's Base but he is not appointed to many missions because he's not well known, most the time he goes with SpikerMan and the rest of his group when Kunac requests it.

Many years later a group of alien lizards known as the Kromasones decide to try and take over the universe. SpikerMan's group as well as an army of Spikons at the Utopian planet, with Galactic soilders, and Knights from Kelvar's home world join together to defeat this group of aliens trying to take over everything. There's alot of details on that but I'll skip to the end. After they defeat the Kromasones on the surface they find that billions of eggs are hidden inside the planet, and if they hatch all their efforts would be in vain. Kelvar decides to gather all the bombs from the other ships as well as galactic bombs to place in one cruiser and to ram that cruiser into the planet to destroy it. Kelvar evacuates everyone but himself as he intends to manually pilot the cruiser until it crashes. SpikerMan shows up and tells Kelvar to evacuate and let him do it instead, but Kelvar is able to knock out SpikerMan and place him in an escape pod and he continues to pilot the plane.

 He is successful in destroying the planet, but he does not die from the explosion. Everyone else thinks he's dead, but he is sent flying very far away to another planet. When he wakes up he finds that his right arm has been replaced with a metal arm, seeing that his real arm was blown off in the explosion.

 He finds the planet he is on is similar to ancient Japan, but it's not Earth, it's an entire planet with similar culture. Kelvar tries to find a way back but because of the differences in the atmosphere of the planet, he can't fly. He has his other powers but not flight. He decides that if he's stuck then he should probably make the planet his new home.

In this place he meets a girl and they become married in a few years. A few years then pass, and a pirate ship the size of a planet decides to take over the planet Kelvar is on, a distress beacon is signaled by a neighboring planet and Galactic troops are sent to respond. Kelvar is no match for some of these pirates and tells his wife to take the others to safety, he is recognized by the troops that land to help and goes back with them to get help, mainly from SpikerMan so they can stop this gang of pirates, however when they leave the planet explodes...And Kelvar looks in disbelief.

A few more years pass and Kelvar is starting to gain recognition as he has become one of the top fighters in SpikerMan's team, but things are going so well for him as it seems he is being blamed for most the accidents or casualties that take place during missions, afterwards something worse happens, fed up with being blamed, Kelvar tells the group to go without him for a mission, but the team is captured by a Dragon and Kelvar comes to their aid being the only one to fight it off, Kelvar is successful in beating the dragon and freeing the others, but during the fight the section between his metal arm and his shoulder is damaged, his arm is powered by a blue liquid, and he must have injections every so often to keep that arm functional, but after that battle Kelvar becomes sick and very cold.

The doctors at Kunac's base examine Kelvar and find that the blue liquid in his arm has spread throughout Kelvar's entire body, basically replacing his blood, Kelvar now has to inject the liquid into his arm or eventually his heart would stop. His body cannot reproduce the liquid so he has to keep injecting it in him. This liquid however is a drug and can be toxic if injected too much, Kelvar is now seen to the others as a "Drug addict" but ignores them and continues his job.

Soon after that a Galactic cop notices Kelvar and his injections and decides that Kelvar should be put away before he hurts someone or himself, he is taken to court and found guilty of drug charges. He spends about a week in jail before Sara (SpikerMan's wife) is able to clear Kelvar of the charges, but because of his existing charges and jail record, his license to be apart of SpikerMan's team or to go on missions is terminated by the Core. Kelvar struggles with what to do now but Sara tells him that everything is ok, and that he could do other things to help people.

Kelvar comes up with the idea to open a small restaurant at Kunac's base which becomes a big deal, he racks up alot of money seeing how their are so many people who work there. After holding a restraint for several months an old enemy of his shows up. Egypto. Egypto is a Bird man like creature who has most the details of an Egyptian king, he once had an empire but the Knights destroyed it leaving only him and a few men. He challenges Kelvar to a duel, Kelvar accepts and fights him for a long time now and then, but he can't defeat Egypto as he is.

Kelvar decides he must go back to his home planet and learn the final techniques he left incomplete when he left his master. His master is unsure whether or not to teach him but he eventually accepts and gives Kelvar his Red chest armor and shoulder pads with a red cape attached. Kelvar is able to defeat Egypto but Egypto escapes and promises revenge again.

Kelvar now decides to work on his own seeing that he is skilled and needed in other areas of the galaxy. He is called sometimes by SpikerMan to aid in missions but he rarely accepts. Years pass and Kelvar becomes tired of so many adventures, but SpikerMan calls him for a mission, and Kelvar says it'll probably be his last one.

SpikerMan, Kelvar, and a few others venture to a planet...A planet with a population of angels...Some of the others are in awe at how beautiful the angels are, but Kelvar tells them not to stare or you'll scare them. The king of the planet states that there is someone who has invaded the planet and he is worried seeing that his planet has always been peaceful and holy. Kelvar stands guard outside near a fountain where he's half asleep, but he hears singing and looks up to see an angel near the fountain is dancing. Kelvar watches as she finishes and walks toward him. Kelvar talks to the girl for a while and they become friends, she becomes attached to Kelvar as she starts to follow him around and wants to hear all about his adventures.
 
That last paragraph is where the City of Angels start, and I know that's alot of backstory, but when I do this project at least you'll know the past he's been through.

Kelvar's story is about the hero that he must become, at first he's not seen as a hero, but as time goes on he grows and must make the choices that others won't, fight the enemies that others are afraid to. He has misfortune, he's not a superhero, he's unlucky, but he'll become more a hero than the others would.

The basic plot of the City of Angels is there is a holy city that is run by a king, and has a population of beautiful women known as angels, this group of men try to take over this kingdom to turn it into their own personal home. The king's men cannot defeat these men because of the resources they have, for one they have a dragon who none of the soilders can stand against, the king makes a decision he despices and is against their laws, to seek help from the outside.

SpikerMan and Kelvar are pretty much that help from the outside, Kunac is given orders that this is a special mission and needs the best men he has to complete it.

Kelvar at this point is depressed for many reasons, he's lost his wife, the drugs in his arm have an effect on his body and make him go through pain, and he's lost his license to work for the Galactic Police, most the time he just does paper work and does not leave his office. SpikerMan talks him into going to this mission "off the books" and he agrees finally.

When Kelvar arrives he meets Ali, the angel that sings by the water foutain, and most of the time after that they spend together and talk about many things.

In the end Kelvar is the one that fights off the thugs and the Dragon, the others cannot because they're either not strong enough, and the thugs have Ice bombs which are SpikerMan's and Scerpinder's weaknesses.

After this event Kelvar is given more respect than ever before, it proves that even SpikerMan and Scerpinder couldn't do what Kevlar has, single handly defeating all the thugs, the dragon that nearly kills him, and accepting no rewards of gold or treasure.
