Zelda Movie Production Log---Page 1
Friday, September 7, 2007 Friday the third

I have some tasty scans today!

The background is red so you can actually see the detail...If you were wondering. Now I've made the faries glow with their core color, plus made her wings insect like wings.

This was a hard one because there's little things that you'll miss if you don't look close enough...see those lines? Those are the lines of the bark of where the sheild was carved from the tree.

I know, I may work a bit more on this one but it's pretty close to the Kokiri Sword, the sheath as well...Yes it looks exactly like that.

And the one you were waiting for...Just gaze and be lost in this ocean of detail. And by the way if you take a picture or snapshot and compare them you'll notice it's really close to the game.

Friday, August 31, 2007 The introduction

I know it's been a week but I now know what I want for the begining of the movie. I figured I should explain how Hyrule was created by the goddesses and that they created the Triforce and have the Great Deku Tree do the narration of the begining, either him or Rarur.

"Long ago in a distant land three goddesses raised their arms to create the world of Hyrule."

And explain the origins of the Triforce and the Master Sword. I think that would be appropriate instead of explaining that later.

Friday, August 24, 2007 Ganondorf and new scene

I'm working on the new type of Ganondorf and I worked a bit on the scene where Saria and Link talk about his new fairy.

Monday, August 13, 2007 Deku Tree and Kokiri Emerald

Ah...That's not the final Kokiri emerald...However that took me all day to do...So another day may make it look better. The Great Deku Tree will be jumbo sized compared to the kids so that will be good.

Thursday, August 9, 2007 Break
Yeah I know I know, but this week was my week off....I had to take a break...I've been going to school non stop this year...I didn't get summer off ok?! Let me rest and I'll get back to work.
Friday, August 3, 2007 First few scenes

One of the first things you will see is Link sleeping and Saria yelling from outside to wake him up to play.

This is a very undetailed version of the Korkiri village...I forgot how exactly the layout went of the houses and such...so this isn't the finished version. The reason I don't start the adventure right away is I wanted to show Link and Saria walking through the village while the other childeren make fun of him for not having a fairy.

In a breif moment you'll see Ganondorf on his horse riding through the village where he will meet with the Deku Tree about the Spiritual Stone and then curse him.

This is the next day and you'll notice Navi isn't in there yet...But she will be.

Thursday, August 2, 2007 Day One

Alright here's what I got so far:

That may not seem like much...But in one day making these first few characters is time consuming. So why haven't I worked on the first scene yet? Well you can't have a story without characters right? There's still a few more characters I have to do for just the first part of the movie which is The Great Deku Tree, some of the other female Kokiri kids, and have to remake each one of them a fairy. Also I have to animate some of the monsters that Link encounters on his way to the Deku Tree and inside the Deku Tree. I'd say for the first day this isn't so bad.

Sunday, July 29, 2007 Setup day

I'm setting up the stage for the first day, right now I have the stuff already done that you've seen for the trailer and the movie artwork, such as the models for Link and Zelda and Volvangia, however....Those models are for the second movie......So I'll have to work on the models for the first movie characters such as Young Link, Sara, Mido, the other Korkri children, the Great Deku Tree...Young Zelda, Darmani, Ruto, King Zora...and most the people in Hyrule Market...So that'll be a job but I'm going to take it slow.

By the way the goal for the movie is to be out by November 29th of NEXT YEAR. However that's just an estimation, if I complete the movie sooner I will release it as soon as I get done, but I doubt I'll get it done before then.

I will except email requests of what you think or any suggestions you might have...for instance...I don't know how I'm going to start the movie off at the very start but I'll probably do it like the game. I was going to try and follow the game as much as I could, and go by some of the elements in the comic.
