This section is the little information that you may or may not have known about The Hero Returns series. |

| #1. | The first Episode scene between Link and the ninja was inspiration from an episode of Samuria Jack |
| #2. | In Episode 2 the boat inspection scene was inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack had to pay to keep his boat at dock |
| #3. | The boat inspector character was a drawn copy of my Engilsh teacher in high school |
| #4. | Gorithmaka was inspired by the character Goku from Dragon Ball who also has a staff and floating cloud. |
| #5. | The character Froast was inspired by the Christmas character Jack Froast. |
| #6. | The character Seres is a drawn copy of me, the creator. |
| #7. | Tingle's appearance in episode 8 and 9 is the only time he appears in the entire series. |
| #8. | Episode 10's ending where Link and Zelda escaped was orignally to be captured and Episode 11 to start the way Episode 12 did. |
| #9. | The character Chameleon was inspired by the Marvel character who's name is also Chameleon, both of them can imitate a person of their choosing. |
| #10. | Link vs. Goldarm was the only episode where Link does not fight with his swords. |
| #11. | The character Marina originally had blonde hair, but I changed it because of the fact that my friends couldn't tell who Zelda or Marina were. So to prevent confusion I changed her hair color. |
| #12. | The character Nayru was not shown in Episode 13 because she looked like Zelda....With blue hair. |
| #13. | The character Majora from Majora's Mask makes an appearance in Episode 14. |
| #14. | The Dark world portal has many things written on it in the Hylian language, mainly the words: "May the way of the hero lead to the Triforce." A famous quote from the game A Link to the past. Also in it's three triangles are the names of the three characters: Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, by each of their names are the pieces given to them: Courage, Wisdom, and Power. The Dark world gate was inspired by the comic book: "A Link to the Past" that was shown in Nintendo Power magazine for a year. In the book Link sticks his hand in the portal and his hand transforms into a wolf hand. |
| #15. | The character Falcon was inspired by a monster I found in the Rpg 2000 game making program, other people have told me it resembles a Final Fantasy character. |
| #16. | The character Ghoul was inspired by the Marvel character "Red Skull" from Captain America. |
| #17. | The Fierce Diety transformation was a revised version of a transformation that SpikerMan went through in the 3rd episode of "The Clone" |
| #18. | The talking tree was a character from A Link to the Past, both of these characters give Link information when talked to. |
| #19. | The character Bangarang was inspired by the character "Bui" from Yu Yu Hakusho, the name of the character was the same word of the childrens war cry in the movie "Hook" |
| #20. | The character Coolo Calypso was inspired by the character Sesshomaru from Inuyasha |
| #21. | In Episode 21. In the library where Coolo is researching, there is a green book with Hylian words on it, the words translate to English: "SpikerMan Rocks" |
| #22. | In Episode 22. Coolo reveals that Link and he are brothers, and proves it by showing the family mark, the mark of Thranduil. This is the first episode where Link and Zelda fight together. |
| #23. | The character Nightmare is from the Namco series "Soul Calibur" who makes an appearance in Episodes 23, 24, and 25 for revenge for Link destroying the true Soul Edge sword. |
| #24. | Episode 26 explains Link's past and why he did not return to Hyrule for 10 years, this episode also shows his transformation into a wolf animal. |
| #25. | Episode 29 is the only episode where Link uses the Zora mask which he obtained in the game Majora's Mask |
| #26. | Episode 30 is said to be one of the greatest episodes in the series. |
| #27. | Episode 31 has more than 5 scenes of the orignal game Ocarina of Time. |
| #28. | The Character Koromaru is a mixture of the characters "Aoshi Shinimori" from Rurouni Kenshin and "Vergil" from Devil May Cry. |
| #29. | The Slashers gang is a bad guy version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, each of them having similar attitudes that the original turtles had. |
| #30. | The character Kempo is inspired by the character Han'nya from Rurouni Kenshin, whose style of marial arts is infact the "Kempo style" |
| #31. | The character Kanto is the same name as the village in Episodes 31-35 that they are in |

| #33. | The character Gizmo is a mixture of the characters "The Joker" from Batman and "Jester" from Devil May Cry. |
| #34. | The character Xangar's first name is Coolo, his main inspiration came from a toy. |
| #35. | Crystal Ocean was inspired by the Ganon's Tower in Ocarina of Time. |
| #36. | Episode 50 shows Thraduil, the father of Link and Coolo. Around Thraduil's headband is his family mark. |
| #37 | During the years of the series the animation detail changed dramaticly in 2005 |
| #38 | Link has had nearly 4 face changes during the series, the first face change was in Episode 18 when Link is wearing his new green tunic, the second was in Episode 30 where I made Link look more tough, the third was at the end of Episode 30 and onward where I made his face a little softer. |
| #39 | The Character Marina had a change from Episode 13 to 25, there were changes in her costume and her hair was changed from green blue to just green. Also I removed her hat in Episode 13 |
| #40 | Coolo Calypso had a face lift from Episode 21 to 22. I gave his face a more serious and solid tone. |
| #41 | Zelda is the only character that I have not made changes to. Her face has remained the same throughout the series, her face was so detailed......There were no need for changes. |
| #42 | The bad guys had major changes in Episode 46. Seres, Agahnim and Ganondorf all had changes to their faces and costumes. |
| #43 | The band "Disturbed" is frequently used in the Episodes because it's my favorite band |
| #44 | Most the songs selected for the episodes are my favorites |
| #45 | The song "Alive" by "Distubed" in Episode 51 is my favortie song |
| #46 | Chameleon is actually a small chameleon that was mixed with the black magic used to create the Dark Copys, Ganondorf created Chameleon to be a spy. |
| #47 | Seres was a student under The Wizard named "Merlock" He trained in the arts of Black Magic and was selected as the heir to the throne of the Wizrobes by defeating Merlock by mastering the Fireballs of Inferno. Ganondorf defeated Seres and made him his servant. |
| #48 | Agahnim is the wizard of Darkness. Some beleive him to be the leader of the Shekiahs because of the eye symbol on his chest. In Link to the Past he serves Ganon by doing all the things he can't in the Light World, some beleive Ganon possessed Agahnim to do whatever he wanted. In the series Agahnim serves Ganondorf of his own free will. |
| #49 | Dark Link is the very first Dark creature that Ganondorf spawns with Black Magic during Ocarina of Time. He was made to have free will and the abillity to learn. He is 10 years old in the series, but is more mature than anyone. |
| #50 | Zelda is one year older than Link, also Marina is one year older than Coolo.

| #51 | Episode 10 has Many Easter eggs, the first one is Zelda's face will fade in and out at the first menu, In the Second Menu the Z symbol with the Master Sword stuck in it will replace the Triforce. Zelda's face will appear again but more clearly in the Second Menu, the Bonus button shows some of the art I worked on in the first and second season. |
| #52 | The wings that Seres uses in Episode 51 is an item called "Pegasus Wings" Which is also an item used in the Game boy games. |
